Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Resume Builder free?
Yes. It is free and does not need an account or email address.
How do I save my resume as a PDF?
Click “Download PDF”. In the print window choose “Save as PDF” as the printer, set Margins to “None” and click Save. This works in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.
Is my information stored on your server?
No. Your details stay in your browser. They are saved on your own device only, so you can return later. Use “Clear all” to remove them.
Can I add a photo?
Yes. Use “Upload photo”, or “Photo from link” to paste an image address. The photo is cropped to a square. Some websites block their pictures from being used elsewhere. If a link fails, upload the file.
Can I edit the resume in Word?
Yes. Click “Download Word (.docx)”. The Word file has your text in a simple layout that you can edit and format.
Why is my resume longer than one page?
The preview grows when you add more text. The PDF will continue on a second page. Shorten your text if you want it to fit on one page.
